Lompakko · Privacy Policy
What Lompakko does with your data.
Lompakko collects nothing. Your cards live on your own device and sync through your personal iCloud — which the developer cannot read.
In effect since 22 July 2026
How you can check that
A privacy policy is only worth as much as the behaviour behind it, so here is what the app actually does rather than what it promises:
- Its entitlements request exactly three things: an iCloud CloudKit container (iCloud.com.nikolayukolov.lompakko), push notifications — which CloudKit uses to signal that a sync is available — and an app group so the widget can read your cards. There is no analytics or advertising entitlement.
- Card data goes to your own iCloud private database. That is Apple infrastructure tied to your Apple Account, not a server belonging to this app, and the developer has no access to its contents.
- There are no accounts to create and no backend of this app’s own to hold anything.
- No third-party SDK is bundled, so nothing is shipped off to an analytics or crash-reporting vendor.
What is never collected
- Personal information — no name, email or account is ever asked for
- Usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports or diagnostics
- Advertising identifiers, and there is no advertising of any kind
- Location, contacts, calendars, health or photo-library data
- Your card numbers, in any form the developer can read
What is stored on your device
- The loyalty cards, tags and notes you add
- Held in the app’s local database on your device so it works offline. Removed when you delete the app.
Device permissions
- Camera
- Used only to scan a card’s barcode while you are adding or editing a card. The frames are processed on-device in real time, and are never stored or transmitted.
Network use
Only iCloud. Your cards sync through Apple CloudKit’s private database so they appear on your other devices signed into the same Apple Account. That data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and is not accessible to the developer. There is no other network destination — no analytics endpoint, no advertising network, and no server belonging to this app.
Third parties
There are none. No analytics provider, no advertising network, no crash reporter and no backend — so no data is shared with anyone, because none is gathered to share.
Purchases
Any purchase or download is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple does not share your payment details, and this app never sees them. Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, so it collects none from children either.
Your rights
Rights such as access, correction, export and erasure exist to give you control over data an operator holds about you. No data about you is held, so there is nothing to request. To remove the preferences stored on your own device, delete the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Since this page is generated from a public repository, the full history of every edit is visible in that repository's commit log.
