How do I add a card?
Tap +, choose a card type, then scan its barcode or enter the number yourself. Choose a tag or create a new one, then save the card. A tag is required. Tap a saved card to show its barcode.
Which cards can I add?
Choose from the card types listed in the app. The selection mainly covers Finland. You can keep several cards of the same type, but unsupported card types cannot be added yet. Each shop or service decides whether it accepts a barcode on a screen, so keep your physical card available.
How can I request another card type?
Email [email protected] with the provider’s name and country. Please do not send card numbers, barcodes, passwords or card photos.
In version 1.1.1 and later, open Settings → Cards → Request a Card to start an email draft. It contains only our address and a subject. No saved cards or attachments are added, and nothing is sent automatically.
What are tags for?
You might keep your own cards, a family member’s cards, and a few cards for work. Some may be the same type. Tags help you tell them apart: use a family member’s name for their cards, or “Work” for the cards you use at work. You can give several cards the same tag to keep them together.
Before deleting a tag, assign its cards to another tag or delete the cards you no longer need.
Why won’t a barcode scan?
Check the card type and number against your original card. When showing a saved card, keep the full barcode visible and avoid reflections on the screen. If scanning a card with the camera does not work, enter its number yourself.
How does iCloud sync work?
Use the same Apple Account on your devices and allow Lompakko to use iCloud in your device settings. Connect to the internet and allow time for changes to appear. Cards already saved on a device are available offline.
If cards are missing, check iCloud settings and connectivity before deleting or reinstalling the app. Deleting the app is not a way to clear your iCloud cards.
